Nyamira County
IDF currently implements USAID Nuru Ya Mtoto Project in the whole of Nyamira County. The project is supporting the government of Kenya in attaining its goal of addressing the HIV and AIDS response by safeguarding the rights and welfare of children and adolescents impacted by HIV and AIDS. IDF currently has a target of reaching 918 beneficiaries and their households for the financial year 2024 (Oct 2023-Sep 2024). The project works various stakeholders including the Directorate of Children Services, Ministry of Health, and County Government among others and implementing various interventions geared towards addressing the United Nation’s ambitious 95-95-95 global strategy to end the HIV pandemic.
